Match the manufacturing route to the design

COTATI is a jewelry factory based in Dongguan, China, with 15 years of experience in jewelry manufacturing. A titanium jewelry project can require several processes to create the final shape, connections and details. COTATI combines in-house equipment with established supply-chain support to assess a route for each project. The equipment list provides a starting point for discussion; the usable process, dimensions and tolerances depend on the material, structure and specific design.

Our in-house capabilities

  • Hydraulic equipment: forming work for suitable structures and materials.
  • Wire EDM: project-specific contour, part or tooling work.
  • CNC engraving: suitable contours, textures and detailed features.
  • Turning: suitable circular and rotational components.
  • Drilling: holes required for connections and assembly.
  • Welding: joining work assessed for the proposed materials and joint.
  • Stone setting: setting structures reviewed against the design and stone requirements.

These resources support development discussions across earrings, rings, necklaces, bangles and bracelets, as well as finished chains, jewelry findings and keychains. They do not establish that every product supports every process or that every purchased component is produced in-house.

Casting and project-specific processes

Casting is supported by established supply-chain partners. The proposed material and casting route must be assessed for the project; experience with conventional jewelry casting does not by itself establish a suitable titanium casting route.

Send a reference for your required surface appearance or marking. Any additional finishing process, supplier involvement and acceptance criteria are confirmed during technical review and quotation. Available colors, uniform tolerances and production capacity are not inferred from the equipment names alone.

Information that helps a technical review

Provide dimensioned drawings, material requirements, component connections, critical dimensions and quantities. For chains, include finished length and closure details. For findings, show the mating parts and assembly purpose. For keychains, include the body thickness, connection arrangement and any artwork location.

Plan sampling and production

MOQ is assessed per project. A quantity of 300 per style is our standard production reference. Share your target quantity for review; smaller runs are assessed individually. Final MOQ and counting units are confirmed in the quotation. For finished chains, the reference is 300 finished chains per style. Sampling and production lead times are assessed according to the design, materials, manufacturing processes and order quantity, with the starting conditions, schedule and shipping arrangements agreed for the project.

Send your design for a manufacturing review so the proposed route can be considered alongside your specifications.
